    Location: Tottenham, North London
    Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
    Hours: 40 hours per week (08:30 – 17:00 with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break)

    About the Role:
    Our client, a well-established organisation based in Tottenham, is seeking a proactive and reliable Warehouse Operative to join their dynamic warehouse and transport team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and has a strong understanding of warehouse operations.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of warehouse duties including goods in/out, inventory management, stock checks, forklift operation, and supporting the safe and efficient flow of materials and goods.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Receive, load, and unload goods following stock control processes

    • Operate forklifts and other MHE (Counterbalance, Clamp, VNA, PPT) safely and efficiently

    • Perform daily vehicle and equipment safety checks

    • Maintain accurate records including GRNs and stock movement logs

    • Assist with the end-of-day loading of mail onto outbound transport

    • Maintain cleanliness and safety within the warehouse, loading bay, and yard

    • Conduct racking inspections and regular stock audits

    • Follow all health and safety policies and procedures

    • Provide support to other departments as required

    • Be available to work overtime and support alternative shifts when needed

    Key Requirements:

    • Valid Counterbalance Forklift and/or PPT Licence preferred

    • Previous warehouse experience is essential

    • Strong communication skills and attention to detail

    • Good understanding of stock control and inventory systems

    • Comfortable using MS Office and handheld devices

    • Reliable, team-focused, and able to work under pressure

    • Willing to undertake further training and certifications as needed
