    We have an exciting opportunity to work for a nationally recognised manufacturing business, considered to be the leader in its field. Pay rates from £15.58 per hour depending on experience. The role of Warehouse Team Leader is based in Fordham, near Newmarket.

    Ideally we are looking for candidates who have a valid Reach Truck licence for this role, or fork lift experience in a previous role.

    Shifts for Warehouse Team Leader:

    • 14:00 to 22:00, Monday to Friday
    • Occasional Saturdays 06:00 to 14:00

    Pay:

    • From £15.58 to £16.54 per hour, depending on experience

    Main Duties of Warehouse Team Leader:

    • To manage a team of people to run the goods in, despatch and materials supply functions in a manner which ensures all required standards of safety, quality and legality are met, whilst meeting set targets
    • The effective running of your areas, coordinating multi skilled, skilled and operatives in your area and being additional support to the wider team
    • Lead by example by working in accordance with the production specification, the company standards and procedures regarding Health and Safety, Food Safety, Downtime, Waste/Giveaway and completing plans
    • To engage with fairness and respect and promote ethical behaviour in all relationships
    • To act with the upmost integrity and communicate in a respectful, open and honest manner
    • To seek continuous improvement in all aspects of work
    • Day to day control and co-ordination of the workforce
    • Ensure all materials (packaging and product) are delivered to the production area within correct time frames, quality standard and correct stock rotation achieved
    • Manage staff absence, assist in on the job training if required and assist with staff training
