As I sit and write this, the reflection of time seems to pass so quickly. From when I opened our first office to the current day seems to have flown by and our growth over this time has been fantastic. Since 1996 our business has gone from strength to strength, rising to one of the leading suppliers of temporary labour solutions within the UK market place. From a regional supplier, we now cover the Midlands to the South of the country, from our network of offices and unique on-site service solutions. This growth has seen First Call Contract Services headlined in a number of industry publications from Recruiter Magazine, Recruitment International, The Times, to the most recent listing in the 2014 Investec UK’s fastest growing mid-size company.
I am delighted to announce that our success shows no signs of slowing and we are on track to achieve a record year in our trading history. Based on the current performance from January to June 2015 turnover is 60% up year on year. With a year-end projection of £56M from £35.2M in 2014 and the profit is set to increase by over 300% year on year.
We are truly having an exceptional year and whilst the economy remains buoyant, it is our strategy surrounding continued investment that has been fundamental to our success. Investment in technology, people and new divisions of the business (in terms of our now not so new Training Division). Being innovative in these areas has streamlined our business and provided efficiencies to drive productivity and profit for both clients and us alike.
The future is very promising and we are forging excellent partnerships, supporting clients of all shapes and sizes to achieve their strategic goals. Customer retention and satisfaction is the benchmark by which we measure our performance, and we hold ourselves, as do our clients, to the highest standards of quality.
The recruitment sector is a continually evolving marketplace, one where clients need improved services and solutions. It is evident from our growth that clients are choosing us as their partner of choice because of our innovation, experience and commitment to delivery.
