Location: East Midlands Airport
Pay Rate: £13.35 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 14:00
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative based at East Midlands Airport. This is a physically demanding role that requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Stripping down pallets and preparing goods for processing.
- Scanning products and freight using warehouse scanning equipment.
- Restacking pallets accurately and securely.
- Wrapping completed pallets ready for storage or distribution.
- Ensuring all goods are handled safely and in line with operational procedures.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
- Following all health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements
- Ability to carry out manual handling duties throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in a physically intensive warehouse environment.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy when scanning and handling goods.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Able to pass a 5-year background check & DBS.
