    Warehouse Manager – Dagenham

    £45,000-£52,000 DOE | Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm | Full-Time, Permanent

    We’re seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to take ownership of a high-performing site in Dagenham, specialising in both full pallet and pick operations. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring operational oversight, people management, stock accuracy, and a strong focus on Continuous Improvement (CI).

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead day-to-day site operations ensuring smooth, compliant, and efficient warehouse processes
    • Maintain full stock accountability and champion continuous improvement initiatives
    • Manage goods-in/goods-out activity with a sharp focus on service levels and accuracy
    • Ensure all legislative and company health & safety standards are met
    • Oversee a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring productivity, engagement, and compliance
    • Monitor and manage MHE maintenance, risk assessments, and site audits
    • Drive customer satisfaction by delivering high service standards and maintaining close client relationships
    • Deliver KPIs, support recruitment and training, and manage performance within your team

    What You’ll Need:

    • Proven experience managing a warehouse environment (ideally full pallet and pick operations)
    • A strong background in stock control and continuous improvement
    • Excellent working knowledge of health and safety (LOLER, PUWER), warehouse systems (SAP/DWMS), and compliance standards (ISO 9001)
    • Confident leadership with excellent communication and people management skills
    • Comfortable with reporting, audits, and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders
    • IOSH Managing Safely qualification (or similar) preferred
