Warehouse Labourers/Loaders in Heathrow area

First Call Aviation is hiring for various Warehouse Labourer positions based in and around the Heathrow area.

These vacancies will be commencing within the next couple of months and they will all require the completion of full 5-year activity and criminal record check prior to any start date.

General information about the duties:

• Loading and unloading trailers and pallets for sortation and labelling, boxes and bags can weigh up to 25kg
• Scanning and processing inbound and outbound packets, boxes and bags
• Building pallets and ULD’s
• Working to meet expected processing deadlines
• Processing relevant import/export paperwork
• Identifying and reporting packaging that is not in line with the company standards
• Working with the team to ensure a clean and tidy work environment is always in place
• Some of the positions will require working in cold environments and will involve perishable item handling

About you:

• Must have the checkable background and criminal record history
• Physically fit and able to handle parcels/items up to 25kg
• Good level of English verbally and in writing
• Full Flexibility (when it comes to working hours and shift allocations)
• Good team player as well as capable to work individually
• Previous experience in a similar work environment (not essential but will benefit)
• FL driving license (counterbalance, reach truck) with at least 6-moths worth of driving experience (not essential but will benefit)

We will offer day and night shift work (normally between 7.5 and 12 hours long, with possible overtime available – subject to the business needs & facility you will be working at)

Driving ability (with own transport) is not essential but would be more beneficial, as there will be more shifts available for candidates that can travel to any of the facilities within Heathrow, Feltham, and Slough areas.

Pay rates and any other benefits vary depending on the place of work and the shift times. All the potential work opportunities will be shared and discussed with all candidates once all the mandatory checks are completed and the applicant has been security screened under the aviation act.
