Shifts for an Admin:
Day shift – start times 7am-16:00pm- Sunday to Thursday
Day shift- start times 15:00pm- 0:00am- Monday to Friday (with weekends)
Weekends involved – flexibility required
General Duties for an Administrative:
- Monitor inbound arrivals through customer pre-alerts by using tracking sites to ensure correct capacity on inbound/outbound vehicles have been booked.
- Manage and monitor customer collections are met within SLA on a day-to-day basis.
- Transport planning.
- Preparation and completion of paperwork for both export postal/commercial, includes pre-alerts.
- Working to strict deadlines to co-ordinate imports & exports with end-to-end responsibility (including collections, airline bookings, liaising with overseas agents/customers until delivered).
- Strong customer relationships to understand requirements and always deliver excellent customer service.
- Liaising effectively and building close relationships with our supply chain
- Reporting discrepancies to mgt.
- Liaising with warehouse to ensure smooth operations.
- Booking and optimizing Inbound/outbound vehicles against SLA/CPU.
- Creating collection /delivery paperwork for Hauliers ensuring that information is accurate and correct
- Recording shipment and daily activity onto excel spreadsheets/systems
- Create and dispatch vehicle load plans to operations.
- Key point of contact for liaising with Hauliers, Gateway, GHA’s, Depots/Hubs & Third-party drivers, internal stakeholders.
- Ensure the right of every employee to carry out their daily work in a safe environment
- Ad hoc duties to support business requirement
