Job Description:
Clean and sanitise kitchen areas, equipment, machinery, and work surfaces (ovens, trolleys, trays, utensils, etc.).
Wash, dry, and organize catering equipment to meet airline requirements.
Follow strict hygiene practices in accordance with HACCP and food safety standards.
Dispose of waste safely and ensure proper segregation and recycling.
Maintain cleanliness in dishwashing and production areas throughout the shift.
Report any damaged equipment or safety hazards to supervisors.
Adhere to dnata safety procedures, PPE requirements, and COVID-19 hygiene protocols.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Participate in safety briefings and comply with airport security regulations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
Understanding of hygiene and sanitation practices.
Basic communication skills (English preferred).
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Teamwork and reliability.
Previous experience in hospitality, industrial cleaning, or catering is an advantage (not always required).
Ability to stand for long periods and handle moderate physical work.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Airport-based catering facility (hot and cold kitchen areas).
Exposure to industrial cleaning machines, heat, noise, and busy production lines.
