Are you looking for a new permanent career within the aviation industry? Our client who are a leading air cargo equipment and logistics services provider are looking for a stores person to join there team in Heathrow Airport, Hounslow.
Summary:
- Hangar based at London Heathrow Airport
- Permanent Contract
- 4 on 4 off 7am-7pm or 10am-10pm
- Salary to be negotiated dependent on experience
- Must have a full UK drivers licence.
Job Summary:
Our client is looking for a stores person who is responsible for implementing goods in received, tracking inventory and storing goods within the allocated facilities. Strictly complying with CAA regulations.
Job Duties:
- Relocating any items that have been or are to be transferred.
- Bookings items on the inventory system (quantum) following booking in procedures.
- Stock Checking inventory (Monthly)
- A/C preload kits, replenishing, stock adjusting and sending in time with A/C inputs.
- Booking in customer repair orders and raising internal work cards
- Co-ordinate internal consumable repairs/soft furnishing, ensuring on time delivery to correct destination.
- Manage stores supplies, notify purchasing when item needed.
- Update parts movement spreadsheets daily.
- Daily shuttle runs to off-site facility.
Job Requirements:
- Must be Flexible.
- Experience in stores / warehouse / delivery driving preferred.
- Must work under own initiative and be able to plan workloads and prioritise.
- Good Teamwork skills
- Good PC knowledge
- Ability to work under pressure.
