We have exciting opportunities to work for a nationally recognised food business, considered to be the leader in its field. Our client is looking for skilled and multi-skilled operatives for its unit in Fordham, near Newmarket. Pay rates from £13.28 per hour depending on shifts.
We are looking for anyone with manufacturing experience that we can train, and is looking for regular promotions and added responsibility.

Shifts for a Production Operative:
- 06:00 – 14:00
- 14:00 – 22:00
- Monday to Friday, some Saturdays as required
Pay:
- Skilled Operatives will be paid at £13.28ph
- Multi-skilled Operatives will be paid at £13.81ph
- Overtime paid at £16.60 (skilled) and £17.26 (multi-skilled) per hour after 40 hours per week
Main Duties of Skilled Operatives:
- Assisting Team Leaders with production, changeovers and paperwork
- Compliance and quality checks
- Deep cleaning of certain areas twice a week
- Maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards
- Helping the production team achieve daily quality and volume targets
- Checking processes and production meet company standards
- Ensuring labelling and product sleeves are correct
