    We have an exciting opportunity to join a well-established Construction industry supplier. Pay rates from £16 per hour. The role of Site Goods In & Logistics Operative in 3 London areas, Canary Wharf, Ealing and Southhall. You will need to have a CSCS Card for this role.     Job Purpose

    To support the efficient day-to-day operation of the site by ensuring all incoming and outgoing materials are received, checked, recorded, stored and distributed correctly. The role combines goods-in, stores and logistics responsibilities, with a focus on maintaining accurate stock records, organising materials, preparing goods for site delivery or collection, and ensuring the site remains safe, organised and efficient. Working closely with the site team. The role will help ensure materials are available in the right place, at the right time, to support project and operational requirements.

    Goods In & Deliveries

    • Receive incoming deliveries and ensure materials are unloaded safely.
    • Check delivered goods against purchase orders, delivery notes and other relevant documentation.
    • Verify quantities and identify any damaged, missing or incorrect items.
    • incorrect items. * Record and report delivery discrepancies promptly.
    • Ensure goods received are correctly labelled and allocated to the appropriate storage or project area.
    • Maintain accurate goods-in records and supporting documentation.

    Stores & Stock Control

    • Organise and maintain site and storage areas to ensure materials can be easily identified and accessed.
    • Put away incoming stock in the correct designated locations.
    • Assist with stock counts, stock checks and inventory control.
    • Help maintain accurate stock records and report discrepancies.
    • Ensure materials are stored appropriately to minimise damage or loss.

    Logistics & Material Movement

    • Assist with coordinating incoming and outgoing materials.
    • Prepare and stage materials for site deliveries and collections.
    • Load and unload company vehicles and delivery vehicles safely.
    • Move materials as required.
    • Work with the site team to ensure materials are available when required.
    • Assist with keeping delivery, collection and material movements organised and efficient.

    kills & Experience Essential

    • Previous experience within a warehouse, stores, goods-in or logistics environment.
    • CSCS card
    • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to accurately check quantities and delivery documentation.
    • Comfortable with manual handling and working in a physical role.
    • Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team.
    • Good communication skills.
    • Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic stock or goods-in systems.
    • A proactive approach and willingness to assist with different warehouse duties when required.

    Desirable

    • Previous experience within the construction, mechanical or electrical industry.
    • Experience handling electrical or M&E materials and equipment.
    • Experience using warehouse or stock management systems.
    • Forklift licence or relevant material-handling certification.
    • Full UK driving licence.

    Working Conditions

    • Full-time, Monday to Thursday 7:30am -5pm Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm
    • The role is site-based and may require working across multiple project locations. Working hours may vary to suit site requirements and project deadlines.
