First Call Contract Services are looking for people to work at Royal Mail in Peterborough
The shifts are a NIGHT SHIFT working 22.00 to 06.00 Monday to Friday
There are also Early shifts working 06.00 to 14.00 and Late shift working 14.00 to 22.00 Monday to Friday and can include weekends
Pay rate is £8.72 for early and late shifts and £9.20 an hour on Nights and this will increase after 12 week’s

Working alongside our clients employees, you will work as part of a team to ensure the delivery of service to the highest standards expected.
In the mail centre you will cover various indoor roles in a warehouse environment, you could be unloading mail from vans, moving large volumes of mail around in trolleys, sorting parcels and letters manually or operating machinery. It is a fast paced environment and you will be working to efficient methods to meet the needs of the business and hit the required targets. A mail centre can process over a million items in a shift and you will be a valuable part of making that happen.
Pay Rates
£8.72 per hour on early or late shifts
£9.20 per hour on Nights
All applicants will be expected to be:
- Punctual and reliable
- Able to work to tight deadlines
- Accurate and have attention to detail
- Flexible and adaptable as you are likely to undertake several different tasks in one shift
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to push trolleys weighing up to 250kg
PLEASE NOTE:
Due to the nature of the work, you will be required to undergo security screening and background checking. All applicants will be required to supply a check-able work history covering the past 5 years and be able to provide current Right to Work Documents and a current Proof of Address (dated in last 3 months)
Working week is Monday to Friday, but can include weekends.
Pay rate increases after 12 weeks work to £11.98 per hour
