Recruitment Consultant
First Call Contract Services are looking for a confident, motivated and organised Recruiter to join our Staines team.
We specialise predominantly in aviation recruitment, supporting clients across airports, airfreight, ground handling, logistics and associated aviation operations. Because of this, previous experience or knowledge of airports, airfreight or the wider aviation sector would be a significant advantage.
This role could suit someone looking to build a career in recruitment who has strong communication skills, good organisation and the confidence to deal professionally with applicants throughout the recruitment process.
Previous recruitment experience would be useful, but attitude, communication skills and the ability to work independently are equally important.
Key Responsibilities
- Support recruitment activity across our aviation and logistics accounts
- Communicate confidently with applicants by telephone, face to face and by email
- Manage candidate applications and maintain regular communication throughout the recruitment process
- Create, maintain and update job adverts
- Support candidate attraction and sourcing activity
- Keep the internal CRM accurate and up to date
- Complete candidate registration and associated administration
- Check Right to Work documentation and candidate information
- Upload documentation accurately onto the CRM
- Support recruitment compliance and onboarding requirements
- Maintain accurate candidate records
- Provide a high level of service to candidates, clients and internal teams
What We Are Looking For
The successful person will:
- Be confident communicating with people by telephone, email and face to face
- Have excellent customer service and people skills
- Be a self-starter who is comfortable taking responsibility for their own workload
- Be organised and able to manage a busy working environment
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Have good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
- Be comfortable working with systems, data and administration
- Have a full UK Driving Licence and their own vehicle
- Be available to work occasional weekends when required
- Be keen to learn, develop and progress their career within recruitment
Previous recruitment experience would be an advantage, but is not essential for someone with the right attitude and transferable skills.
Experience or knowledge of airports, airfreight, ground handling or aviation operations would be a major advantage, as a large proportion of our recruitment activity is within the aviation sector.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants to develop a long-term career in recruitment, learn the aviation recruitment sector and progress into greater responsibility as their experience grows.
