We have an exciting opportunity to work as a Packing Operative for a packaging manufacturer, based in Aylesham, Kent. Pay rates from £12.21 per hour +£70 weekly shift allowance.

Shifts for Packing Operative:
- Day shift 6am-6pm 4 days on, 4 days off (12 hour shifts, Monday to Sunday) temp to perm.
Pay:
- £12.21 per (£13.73 if full shift pattern completed)
- Paid weekly
Main Duties of Packing Operative :
- To check the quality of the product for defects as it is produced by the machines and pack the correct quantity in boxes.
- To inform Setters if there are defects in the products immediately to reduce any wastage and to ensure only quality products are produced and packed.
- To ensure that all documents required by the hygiene and quality management systems are completed in full, in relation to the work being carried out.
- To carry out a “Clean as you go” system to assist in good housekeeping and hygiene requirements in and around the machines.
- To cooperate and attempt to run multiple machines if the business needs require.
- To comply with all Health & Safety regulations and work within the Company’s safe working practices, including the wearing of correct PPE.
- Undertake such other duties that are deemed reasonable and commensurate with the role according to business needs.
