    Mail Sorters -Tyneside.

    First Call Contract Services is recruiting for Mail Sorters in Tyneside on behalf of Royal Mail.

    ASAP start dates !!!

    Pay: £14.48 -£15.74

    Shifts:

    Earlies – Monday – Friday 7am – 2pm and 7am – 7pm Saturday and Sunday

    Lates – starts anytime between 12 – 2pm until 10pm

    Nights – starts anytime between 9:30pm – 7:30pm (1-2am-8am, 9:30pm-7:30am or 10:30pm-7:30am)

    Contract: Seasonal

    Main Duties:

    • Unloading mail and parcels
    • Sorting items by postcode and moving them through the warehouse
    • Working efficiently to meet tight deadlines – some teams sort over a million items in a single shift!
    • Adhering health & safety protocols.

    Requirements:

    • Good communication skills
    • Can stand for long periods during shifts
    • Work well as a team
    • Can push trolleys up to 250kg and lift mail bags up to 11kg
