We are recruiting on behalf of a family owned business based in Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire growing and packing root vegetables for major retail customers.

We are seeking to strengthen our team by recruiting a Line Supervisor to support our Production team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the carrot wash line workflow to meet the orders
• Become proficient with the camera grading system
• Plan and prioritize workload to ensure maximum performance and minimum downtime
• Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
• Stock management
• Ensuring all related company procedures are adhered to
• Keep paperwork up to date
• Maintaining compliance with Health and Safety standards
• Pro-Actively support continues improvement and lean manufacturing principles
• Maintain a high standard of house keeping (5S)

• Previous experience in operating plant machinery within food production
• Good standard of English and Maths

WORKING HOURS

4 on 4 off shift pattern, working 40 hours per week, overtime available

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Wages: £14.75 per hour up to 40 hours, over 40 hours is at time and a quarter.

Payment Method: Weekly Pay

Benefits: Free on-site parking, Free veg Friday

Ability to commute/relocate: Bilsthorpe: reliably commute
