HGV Driver – Aviation Catering Logistics | London City Airport
We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Drivers to join a leading Aviation Catering Logistics operation based at London City Airport.

Pay Rate
£21.70 per hour
Shift Pattern
- 5-on, 3-off rotating shift pattern
- 8.5 working hours per shift
- AM and PM shifts available
- AM Start Times: 04:30 – 07:30
- PM Start Times: 12:30 – 14:30
Key Responsibilities
- Safe and efficient transportation of aviation catering and related products
- Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with company procedures
- Completing deliveries and collections within scheduled timeframes
- Maintaining accurate records in line with transport regulations
- Adhering to all airport security procedures and UK road transport legislation
- Working closely with operational teams to ensure smooth service delivery
Requirements
- Valid HGV Licence (Minimum Category C)
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Right to Work in the UK
- Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check (CRC)
- Minimum 5 years checkable employment history
- Previous HGV or commercial driving experience preferred
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience operating flatbed lorries
- Strong knowledge of UK road transport regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Professional and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work independently and perform well under pressure
