    We have an exciting opportunity for HGV Class 2 drivers to work on a local council contract, initially driving an HGV class 2 Romaquips Vehicle, and moving onto RCV’s, a permanent position will be available for those who qualify, rates from £18.00 phr for new pass drivers and to £22.00 phr for experienced Drivers

    New Pass HGV Drivers will be considered

    Shifts for HGV class 2 Drivers:

    • 06.45 to 15.15
    • Monday to Friday
    • Weekend work optional
    • Working as part crew
    • Drivers are expected to get out & help the loaders

    Pay: Experienced Drivers

    • Mon to Fri £22.00 per hour
    • Overtime after 40 hours £33.00
    • £33.00 Saturday
    • £44.00 Sun B/Hols
    • Paid weekly

    Pay: New Pass Drivers

    • Mon to Fri £18.00 per hour
    • Overtime after 40 hours £27.00
    • £27.00 Saturday
    • £36.00 Sun B/Hols
    • Paid weekly

    Main Duties of HGV Class 2:

    • Driving Romaquips / RCV’s Vehicle in a professional manor
    • Making waste collections
    • Max of six points for minor offences, no DR10 IN10 or DG10
