Shifts for HGV 1 Night Shunter :
- 22:00-06:00 any 5 nights from 7
Pay for HGV 1 Night Shunter :
- From £18.27 per hour
- Paid weekly
Main Duties of HGV 1 Night Shunter :
- Take accountability for own health and safety and fully support site objectives
- Coupling and uncoupling trailers
- Parking trailers int he yard including reversing into bays
- Opening and closing trailer doors and curtains
- Vehicle and trailer allocation
- Liaising with the warehouse on vehicles ot be unloaded
- Liaising with the warehouse on vehicles to be loaded
- Maintaining a 7 day digi download on every vehicle
- Daily vehicle inspections
- Maintain a daily check record
- Check vehicle cleanliness and record and new vehicle or trailer damage
- Liaise with transport and fleet coordinator regarding fleet maintenance
- Help manage defects and VOR’s
- Remove load security measures from loaded trailers
- Assist the loading team with positioning the load on the trailer bed
