Our client is a leading municipal services company. They are looking for reliable, flexible and hardworking candidates that thrive in working in a fast paced environment to join their warehouse team.
Shifts for a Grounds Worker are :
- 07:00-15:30 Monday to Friday £11.90 per hour
- Weekly Pay (Friday)
General Duties of a Grounds Worker
- Provide grounds maintenance to a high standard in all areas of the service, including, grass cutting, shrubbery maintenance, planting annual bedding, hedge cutting, tree maintenance, preparation of sports surfaces, spraying insecticides, cemetery and grave work
- Maintain vehicle and equipment
- Ensure buildings are safe, secure and clean
- Complete sports surface inspections
What you need:
- Experience working within a grounds maintenance position, including horticultural techniques
- Fine turf qualification
- Experience in managing sports facilities
- Experience operating and maintaining machinery
- A full UK driving licens
- Safe use of pesticides qualifications PA1 and PA6
