Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
To take responsibility for correctly receiving, checking, booking-in, and storing all deliveries. The role involves using an electronic Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure all stock is accurately processed and recorded.
Ensure the accuracy of goods received matches all accompanying paperwork.
Maintain excellent attention to detail at all times.
Distribute delivered items to the correct departments or areas.
Correctly label received stock with “Best Before” and “Use By” dates.
Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
Store and locate pallets correctly in designated areas.
Monitor product “Use By” dates and rotate stock accordingly.
Process deliveries promptly and ensure all documentation is completed and passed to the relevant departments.
Support the wider warehouse team with general duties when required.
Essential: Valid Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Truck licences.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and basic computer skills.
Ability to check goods thoroughly against delivery paperwork.
Experience using handheld scanners (advantageous).
Experience using “Orderwise” or other WMS systems (advantageous).
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
Strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Good understanding of Health and Safety procedures.
Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling duties.
Based within a warehouse environment in Enfield.
The role involves both physical activity (counting and moving stock) and desk-based work using a computer.
Regular manual handling and lifting of stock items.
Periods of standing, walking, and operating machinery.
