Counterbalance Driver / Warehouse Operative – Sunbury
We are looking for a Counterbalance Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a busy, fast-paced warehouse and yard operation in Sunbury.
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00-17:00
Salary: £26,996
Flexibility required to cover holidays, earlier starts, or later finishes when needed.
The role:
You will be responsible for safely loading and unloading vehicles and trailers, moving and storing pallets, and supporting general warehouse operations including wrapping, packing, and handling goods. Maintaining hygiene, safety, and quality standards at all times is essential.
Key responsibilities:

Loading/unloading vehicles and trailers in a fast-paced yard

Moving, storing, and wrapping pallets as required

Supporting warehouse operations and other duties as needed

Completing necessary paperwork and quality checks

Following all health & safety procedures and using safety equipment
Skills and experience:
-
Counterbalance forklift licence or willing to complete training

Experience safely operating warehouse equipment, including pallet trucks

Basic PC skills or willingness to learn warehouse systems

Ability to work independently and as part of a small team

Good numeracy and literacy skills
