First Call Talent Solutions are recruiting for a office based Export Clerk to join a global logistics company.
Salary: Up to £35’000 dependent on experience (negotiable)
Hours and Working Days: Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm
Holidays: 22 days holiday + bank holidays (30)
Location: London Heathrow, Hounslow
Overview of the Export Clerk – Pharmaceuticals role:
- You will work alongside the Team Leader and deliver first class service to customers. You will have in depth knowledge of freight forwarding and logistics for safe and correct handling of pharmaceutical goods.
Duties:
- Process requests in line with guidelines and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Follow all customers instructions completely
- Raising accurate shipment files in the companies in house forwarding systems
- Following Good Distribution Practice (GDP)
- Knowledge of packaging solutions to discuss with customers
- Ensure cost and sales are entered for each shipment
- Any loss making files need to be highlighted to Team Leaders
- Communicating with suppliers and carriers
What we need from you:
- Experience in freight forwarding
- Experience in pharmaceutical and/or perishable goods
- Work to GDP and SOP at all times
- Great communicator
- Organised and Flexible
- Ability to get to London Heathrow, Hounslow
