    Evening Shift Manager

    Our client is seeking an experienced Evening Shift Manager to join a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in maintaining high standards of production efficiency, quality, and safety.

    You will bring strong technical expertise alongside excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. Working closely with the wider team, you will demonstrate effective communication, adaptability under pressure, and a commitment to delivering consistent results in a dynamic production setting.

    Key Responsibilities

    Health & Safety

    • Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, and quality assurance standards

    • Report hazards, incidents, and near misses promptly to the Production Manager

    • Support the implementation of safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment

    • Participate in health and safety briefings and training sessions

    Performance & Operations

    • Drive line efficiency and productivity

    • Reduce downtime and improve changeover times

    • Ensure maintenance compliance

    • Maintain high quality and safety standards

    • Lead and manage a team of up to 50 staff at peak times

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within FMCG manufacturing

    • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

    • High attention to detail with a commitment to quality

    • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

    • Proactive mindset towards maintenance and continuous improvement

    • Proven experience managing large teams

    Working Hours

    • Monday to Thursday

    • 4:00pm – 2:00am

    • 38 hours per week
