Job Title: Driver’s Mate – Furniture Delivery
Location: Normanton
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday | 6:00am-2:00pm & 1:30pm-10:00pm
About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Driver’s Mate to join our delivery team in Normanton. This role involves assisting drivers with the delivery of both flatpack and pre-built furniture to customers’ homes and businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the driver with loading and unloading furniture
- Delivering items safely and efficiently to customers
- Supporting with heavy lifting and manual handling
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery points
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed on time
- Helping with basic assembly where required
What We’re Looking For:
- Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Flexible to work both shift patterns
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential
