We have an exciting opportunity to work for a nationally recognised logistics business, considered to be the leader in its field. Pay rate is £12.71 per hour. The role of Delivery Driver is based in Marden, Kent.
You don’t need any experience, but you do require a Full UK Manual Driving License; we offer full support for you to succeed in your role! Shifts for Delivery Driver :
- 06:00 to 14:00
- 12:30 to 21:00 or until the run is finished
Pay :
- £12.71 per hour
- Paid weekly
Main Duties of Delivery Driver :
- Delivery and Installation: Safely transport furniture from warehouse to customers homes or offices. This includes loading and unloading items (some items weigh up to 120kg – you will be delivering with driver’s mate).
- Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing any questions or concerns they may have during the delivery process.
- Route Planning: Plan daily delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service, taking into account traffic conditions and customer schedules.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety procedures and regulations.
- Inventory Management: Check client orders to ensure the correct items are loaded for delivery and maintain accurate records of deliveries made.
About You:
- You must hold a valid UK manual Driving License
- No more than 6 points for minor offences (No IN, DD, DR)
- Happy to drive a company issued vehicle (3.5 tonne van)
- Be physically fit
- Happy to cover South of the River and all over the South East from Canterbury to Slough.
PLEASE NOTE: You will be required to complete the client’s Vetting Process which includes a basic DBS check paid for by you.
