    Job Title: Compliance Team Leader

    Location: Stowmarket
    Salary: £32,306 per annum (£16.55 per hour)
    Shift Pattern: 4 on, 2 off rotation – 8-hour shifts

    Role Overview:
    We are partnering with a leading retail distribution centre in Stowmarket to recruit 2 proactive and detail-focused Compliance Team Leaders. This is a key role within a fast-paced operation, responsible for monitoring compliance standards, ensuring accurate reporting, and driving operational efficiency while leading and supporting your team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Daily Report Extraction: Compile and communicate accurate daily reports to internal stakeholders.

    • Task Ownership: Take responsibility for urgent tasks requiring direct oversight, ensuring timely completion and follow-up.

    • Data Analysis: Analyse numerical data using Excel – including pivot tables – to support operational reporting and business decisions.

    • Compliance Monitoring: Monitor adherence to company policies and procedures, promptly addressing any compliance issues.

    • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to uphold compliance and operational standards.

    • Training & Support: Provide ongoing training, support, and guidance to team members on compliance requirements and best practices.

    • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance compliance and operational efficiency.

    Candidate Profile:

    • Experience in a compliance, team leadership, or operational role within a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.

    • Strong analytical skills with confident use of Excel (including pivot tables).

    • Excellent communication and people management skills.

    • Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

    • Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
