We have an exciting opportunity to work for the local council. Pay rates from £15.70 per hour, rising to £23.54 on overtime hours. The role of Class Two HGV Driver is based in Braintree, Essex.
You will need a full UK driving licence with Cat C entitlement, CPC and Tachocard to apply. For insurance reasons, our client is looking for someone with no more than 6 points, and at least two years experience driving a similar vehicle.

Shifts for Class Two HGV Driver:
- 07:00 to finish, usually before 15:00
- Monday to Friday
Pay:
- £15.70 per hour
- Guaranteed hours even when finishing early
- £23.54 per hour for overtime and Saturdays
- Paid weekly
Main Duties of Class Two HGV Driver:
- Safe and responsible driving of a class two HGV
- Daily pre-vehicle checks
- Working with a team of loaders to collect household waste
- No multi-drop
- Local routes only
