    Position Overview

    Our client is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper (Mandarin Speaking) to join their team in Southall. This is a key role responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions and maintaining accurate financial records. Fluency in Mandarin is essential for effective communication with Chinese-speaking clients and partners.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounts using accounting software

    • Process and reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and expense claims

    • Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections

    • Prepare and complete bank reconciliations

    • Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports

    • Support with VAT returns and other HMRC submissions

    • Liaise with suppliers, clients, and external accountants as required

    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies

    • Perform general finance-related administrative duties

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in a bookkeeping or finance-related role

    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or similar)

    • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and UK financial regulations

    • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently

    • Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written) – essential

    • Strong communication skills in English

    • Right to work in the UK
