Bathroom Showroom Assistant

Location: Coventry
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum, depending on experience
Starting Rate: £13.50 per hour, with scope to increase based on knowledge and experience
Hours: 41.25 hours per week, 5 days out of 6
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Saturday rota, when required, 8:00am-4:00pm
Lunch: 45-minute unpaid lunch break

The Role

We are looking for a Bathroom Showroom Assistant to join a busy and established bathroom showroom in Coventry.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in bathroom sales, showroom environments, interior design or CAD design who enjoys working with customers and helping them bring their ideas to life.

You will play an important role in supporting customers throughout their showroom experience, understanding their requirements and helping them find the right bathroom products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the showroom and provide a friendly, professional service.
• Understand customers’ requirements, preferences and budgets.
• Provide advice on bathroom products, layouts and design options.
• Assist with sales enquiries and help customers through the purchasing process.
• Produce or assist with bathroom designs where appropriate.
• Use CAD design software to create bathroom layouts and visual concepts.
• Maintain excellent product knowledge and keep up to date with new ranges and products.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and colleagues to ensure a smooth service.
• Keep the showroom presentable, organised and welcoming.
• Support the wider showroom team with day-to-day activities.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in bathroom sales, showroom sales or a similar customer-facing environment.
• A good understanding of bathroom products, layouts and design.
• CAD design experience, particularly creating virtual bathroom designs, would be a significant advantage.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• A confident and professional approach when dealing with customers.
• Good attention to detail and an eye for design.
• The ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
• A consistent employment history and a stable approach to your career.

Candidates without CAD experience will still be considered if they have a strong background in bathroom sales or a similar showroom environment.
