Aviation Vetting & ID Administrator
Job Summary
First Call Contract Services Aviation Division is a leading recruitment, vetting and training specialists, supporting airlines, ground handling companies, cargo operators and airport service providers across multiple UK airports for the last 15-years and more.
We are looking for a highly organised Aviation Vetting & ID Administrator to join our Compliance team with responsibilities for delivering on time an end-to-end aviation vetting process including applications for passes within secure airport environments. This is a critical role with emphasis in maintaining absolute compliance with aviation security regulations.
The successful candidate will be exceptionally organised, have excellent attention to detail and understand that accuracy and confidentiality are fundamental within aviation security.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the vetting process for aviation personnel, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant with relevant regulations
- Verify employment history, references and address history in line with aviation security standards.
- Validate Right to Work documentation and identity evidence.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on documentation and processes to uphold high standards of accuracy and security
- Assist in the development and implementation of procedures related to vetting and ID management
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information at all times
- Prepare reports on vetting status and compliance metrics for management review
- Support audit activities by providing necessary documentation and records
- Manage the complete aviation vetting process to security clearance.
- Process airport ID pass applications in accordance with airport authority requirements.
- Maintain accurate records using internal databases and applicant tracking systems.
- Produce compliance reports, vetting statistics and management information.
- Support internal and external compliance audits.
- Identify delays or issues within the vetting process and proactively resolve them.
- Continuously review processes to improve efficiency and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within aviation or security sectors
- Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail
- Knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and professionally
- Proficient in the use of office software programmes such as MS Office or equivalent systems
- Demonstrated ability to work independently whilst maintaining team collaboration when required

Hours of Work
Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00
Salary – negotiable based on experience. Overtime paid and as extra holiday.
