Shifts and Pay Rates for Weighbridge Operatives / Admin:
Hours will be alternating on a two weekly cycle as explained below:
- Week 1 hrs = 10am to 6:30pm Mon to Fri
- Week 2 hrs = 10am to 4:30pm Mon to Fri / PLUS Sat 6am to 4pm
- £11.22 per hour
- 42.5 hrs per week (40 hrs paid / 0.5 hrs per day unpaid break)
Experience with Windows PC (Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook email) is necessary.

Daily Duties of a Weighbridge Operatives / Admin will be:
- • Working in a team of 5 weighbridge operatives who together ensure that the operation is manned 24 hours 6 days per week.
• Day to day acceptance of incoming waste streams across all parts of the site and ensure they are weighed in correct on the correct contract.
• Ensure that the correct paperwork is supplied to all drivers entering and leaving site.
• Ensure that daily and weekly reports are correctly checked and sent on to the relevant departments. - Customer facing (good communication skills needed)
- Completing inspection sheets
- Updating records on computer systems
- Answering phone enquiries
- Dealing with other administrative tasks
