We are looking for hardworking and reliable Pallet Operatives/Pallet Repairers to join the team.
Shift: 6AM to 2PM
The role involves inspecting, repairing and maintaining wooden pallets to ensure they meet the required quality and safety standards. Full training will be provided, so previous experience is not essential.
Key responsibilities: maintain and repair wooden pallets, inspect pallets for damage and carry out quality checks, repair and replace damaged pallet boards and components, ensure repaired pallets meet the required quality standards, sort and organise pallets within the work area, follow all company health and safety procedures, keep the working area clean tidy and safe, work efficiently as part of a team.
Working Environment: this is a physically demanding role, you will be working on your feet throughout the shift, the role involves lifting and carrying pallets, you will be required to handle pallets safely and efficiently.
We are looking for someone, reliable and punctual, physically fit and able to carry out manual work, good attention to detail, able to work independently and as a part of the team, willing to learn new skills. positive attitude and strong work ethic.
