    Warehouse Operative – Evening/Night Shifts

    We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join a leading name within the UK’s food manufacturing and distribution industry, supporting the efficient movement and distribution of high-quality bakery products to customers nationwide.

    As a Warehouse Operative, you will play an important role within a fast-paced and highly organised distribution environment. Working both independently and as part of a dedicated team, you will be responsible for ensuring products are handled, prepared and dispatched safely, accurately and efficiently.

    Own transport is recommended due to the shift timings and location.

    Shifts & Pay Rates

    4 on 4 off – 18:00 – 04:00

    • £15.98 per hour when your shift pattern includes working one weekend day.
    • Overtime: £19.18 per hour.

    When your shift pattern requires you to work both weekend days – 18:00 – 04:00

    • £17.02 per hour.
    • Overtime: £20.42 per hour.

    Responsibilities – Warehouse Operative

    • Picking and preparing products accurately and efficiently for customer deliveries.
    • Working as part of a fast-paced warehouse and distribution team.
    • Operating warehouse equipment safely and effectively in line with company procedures.
    • Ensuring orders are accurate, complete and prepared for dispatch within required timescales.
    • Following all Health & Safety, Food Safety, environmental and company procedures.
    • Maintaining high standards of product quality, hygiene and housekeeping.
    • Supporting colleagues and working effectively as part of a multi-skilled team.
    • Following site processes and procedures to ensure products are handled, stored and dispatched safely and efficiently.
    • Working flexibly across a range of shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends and Bank Holidays where required.
    • Maintaining clear communication, strong attention to detail and accurate numeracy skills.
    • Consistently working towards operational performance targets while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
