We are looking for a Drivers Mate to join our Store to Home team in Doncaster
Shifts: 6am start | Tuesday to Saturday

As a Drivers Mate, you’ll receive:
* An hourly rate of £12.71
* Holiday pay and Workplace pension
* Store discount upon successful completion of probation period
What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Work as a part of two-person team delivering products to customer premises (room of choice) on multidrop basis – an average of 16 drops per day off peak and 24 drop per day in peak season
* Assist the delivery driver in parking and manoeuvring a company vehicle as well as loading and unloading of vehicles as and when required
* Provide effective customer service while ensuring goods are delivered in excellent condition
* Ensure that customers are kept informed of their estimated time of delivery and any issues are communicated in a polite and courteous manner
What you need to succeed:
* Experience of dealing with multi drop home delivery preferred but not essential
* Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal
* Willingness to complete manual handling tasks such as pulling, lifting and pushing
* Can do attitude with a knack for problem solving
* Willingness to undertake pre-employment Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS Check)
* Be prepared to commute to Doncaster for the required shift pattern
