Salary: £28,000 + £750 bonus paid twice a year
Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00
Our client is currently looking to recruit a reliable and professional 7.5 Tonne Driver to join their team based in Purfleet (West Thurrock). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a stable Monday to Friday role with a great work life balance.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering goods to high end locations including hotels such as The Savoy, ensuring excellent customer service at all times. The role is not physically demanding, making it ideal for drivers who are looking for a less labour intensive position while still working in a professional and customer facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled deliveries to hotels and client sites
- Ensure goods are delivered safely and on time
- Provide a professional and courteous service to customers
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any issues
Requirements
- Valid 7.5 tonne (C1) licence
- Full UK Driving licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Good communication skills and a professional manner
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
