Shifts for HGV 2 Driver :
- 06:00am start
- Finish times vary depending on workload/route
- Min 8 hours paid
Pay for HGV 2 Driver :
- From £15.94 per hour
- Paid weekly
Main Duties of HGV 2 Driver :
- Day 1 – Site tour and driver knowledge test – max 2 hours
- Day 2 – Driving assessment – max 1 hour
- Day 3 – Training paperwork and manual handling training
- Day 4 – on the job training with another experienced driver
- Day 5 – Out on the road with a drivers mate, making deliveries
- Delivery of drinks to pubs and hotels
- Manual lifting as you will be delivering kegs and boxes of drinks
- Drivers are expected to help unload the vehicle
