    Blending Operator – Essential Oils

    Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am- 4pm
    Location: Woolwich, London
    Salary: £29,500 per annum
    Type: Full-time, Permanent

    Our client, a leading Blender of natural essential oils – is seeking a Blending Operator to join their production team. This is a hands-on, highly process-driven role within a fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Accurately follow detailed recipes to blend natural essential oils to meet customer specifications

    • Operate a motorised pump system to transfer materials into larger blending tanks

    • Dispense completed blends via gravity feed into final customer packaging, following QC approval

    • Identify and locate stock items and raw materials required for each blend

    • Complete all associated documentation with precision, adhering to BRC, ISO, SOPs, and GMP standards

    • Ensure all packaging and labelling is accurate and complies with customer and regulatory requirements

    • Maintain clear communication with Line Manager, QC, Stock Control, and Senior Management teams

    Requirements:

    • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a food processing or food production environment

    • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP principles

    • GCSEs grade 6+ (or equivalent) in Maths and English

    • Proven ability to work in a physically demanding, active role within a warehouse or production setting

    • FLT (Forklift Truck) experience is essential

    • Mature, dependable, and able to follow strict protocols and instructions

    • Strong administrative skills with the ability to complete paperwork accurately and consistently

    • Familiarity with production protocols in regulated environments (BRC, GMP, ISO)

    • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
