Fly Tip Loader/Sweeper

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and hard-working Fly Tip Loader to join our waste management team in Edmonton. This role involves assisting in the removal and proper disposal of illegally dumped waste (fly tipping) across various locations. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, safety-conscious, and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and remove dumped waste from public and private land

• Assist with manual handling of various waste types (e.g., household rubbish, construction debris, bulky items)

• Work closely with the driver and other team members to complete jobs efficiently

• Keep accurate records of waste collections and report findings if necessary

• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations

• Conduct pre and post-job site checks to ensure thorough clean-up

• Maintain a professional and respectful attitude toward the public and colleagues

Requirements:

• Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting

• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions

• Punctual, reliable, and hard-working

• Strong attention to detail and safety

• Previous waste handling or manual labour experience is a plus

• A valid UK driving licence is an advantage but not essential

• Be able to provide employment references that cover the last 2 years

Pay :

• Paid weekly
