Last month Britain saw the Manufacturing industry grow at its strongest rate for the last three years. Many firms are taking full advantage of this positive change and are already aiming to increase their hiring in the forth coming months.
Rob Dobson the economist from the Markit/Cips Purchasing Managers’ Index has said “UK manufacturing continued to hit the high notes in November,” with the index jumping from 56.5 in October to 58.4 in December (all reading above 50 indicating growth.) Rob confirmed “It looks as if the recovery in the sector is translating into meaningful job creation.”
